2025 China Coatings Industry Information Conference: VP Pigging System Drives Innovation

The 2025 China Coatings Industry Information Conference was successfully held from November 5–7 in Haicheng, Liaoning. Organized by the China National Coatings Industry Association, Beijing VP Co., Ltd. (BJVP) participated as a co-organizer. Our General Manager, Mr. Gou Jingsheng, Technical Director, Ms. Sabrina, and other team members attended the conference and actively engaged in various sessions. The event, themed “Countering Involution, Strengthening Innovation, and Winning the Future”, was attended by nearly 300 industry leaders, experts, and representatives from research institutions, governmental bodies, and the coatings industry.

China Coatings Conference Highlights

The conference featured 24 specialized reports that comprehensively addressed the current status and future trends of the industry. Topics included macroeconomic and industry policy analysis, the 14th Five-Year Plan for the coatings industry, advances in coating technologies (for automotive, machinery, marine equipment, and low-altitude economy), green low-carbon processes (such as supercritical CO2 spraying), and new material innovations (such as high-performance organic pigments, nanomaterials, self-healing coatings, and electromagnetic metamaterials).

Attendees discussed the latest national and industry updates, the economic performance of the coatings industry in the first three quarters of 2025, innovations in industrial anti-corrosion and marine coatings, and the establishment of efficient supply chain platforms to foster high-quality development. The conference fostered in-depth discussions to promote technology-driven progress and sustainable development within the industry.

BJVP’s Lecture at the 2025 China Coatings

BJVP’s General Manager, Mr. Gou Jingsheng, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Coating Pipeline Material Recovery and Barrel Liquid Decanting Technologies”, which attracted significant attention from attendees. The presentation demonstrated BJVP’s innovative technology in coating pipeline material recovery. Through videos and animations, the system was shown to clear pipelines in just one minute, recovering 99.9% of finished products, preventing cross-contamination, and reducing product waste.

This technology has been successfully implemented by international coatings giants, saving approximately 2.55 tons of finished product daily, amounting to an annual cost savings of around 38 million RMB, with a pipeline residue rate of only 1g/m.

Mr. Gou Jingsheng also highlighted the advantages of BJVP’s barrel liquid decanting technology, which can extract 200 liters of liquid within two minutes, effectively solving leakage issues and preventing environmental pollution. The system’s self-cleaning function reduces waste, prevents cross-contamination, ensures worker safety, and supports the transition to fully automated and unmanned production processes.

Additionally, Mr. Gou shared the company’s breakthroughs in technologies such as the Pigging System, tank cleaning solutions, and gear pump self-priming capabilities, which garnered wide interest among participants.
